Welcoming travelers since 1994.
Villa Paraíso opened its doors in December 1994 on Playa Santo Domingo, the strip of volcanic sand that runs between Concepción and Maderas volcanoes. More than 30 years later, we're still a family-run hotel in the same place: on the shores of Lake Cocibolca, in the heart of Ometepe Island.
Three decades taught us what a traveler needs after a day of volcano trails, kayaking, or the road: a comfortable cabin, a good plate of Nicaraguan cooking, a pool under the palms, and a beach steps from the door. That's what we do, and it's why so many of our guests come back.
Our commitment
To host you the way Nicaragua hosts: warmly and without hurry. To care for what makes Ometepe unlike anywhere else, working with local suppliers and sustainable practices. And to make every detail of your stay, from your room to your breakfast, worth the trip to the island.
